Who We Are

Yangtze Optics Africa (YOA) Cable (Pty) Ltd, is an optical fibre cable manufacturer located in the Dube Trade Port Industrial Development Zone in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.

Established in 2016, through the partnership of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) and Mustek Limited (a JSE listed company), YOA Cables has already positioned itself as one of Africa's leading fibre cable manufacturing facilities.

YOA Cable is well placed to leverage the 30-year history of manufacturing innovation of its principal shareholder YOFC, globally recognised as the largest manufacturer and supplier of optical fibre and optical fibre cable products.

YOFC is the only optical fibre manufacturer to utilise three manufacturing platforms, namely OVD, VAD and PCVD. This ensures that YOA Cable's customers benefit from YOFC's global leadership in the manufacturing of optical fibre.

What We Do

Through our purpose-built fibre optical cable manufacturing facility, YOA Cable offers new-generation smart optical fibre cable solutions within the telecommunications, utilities, transportation, petrochemical and healthcare sectors, to meet local and African customer specifications and needs.

With our vertically integrated supply chain throughout the international YOFC Group, YOA Cable is able to benefit from the global sourcing of the highest quality raw materials, including a comprehensive range of single mode optical fibre (ITU-T G.652D, G.657 A1 & A2, G.656) and multimode fibre (OM2, OM3 and OM4) solutions, benchmarked at globally competitive rates to the benefit of our customers and stakeholders.
