Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Proudly Celebrates 75th Anniversary

arlisle Interconnect Technologies, a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance wire and cable including optical fiber, celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2015.  For 75 years, CarlisleIT has been committed to providing customers with the highest level of support. CarlisleIT's President, John Berlin, said about the milestone, "Being a cornerstone in this industry for 75 years is truly a remarkable accomplishment. Our commitment to excellence and dedication to our customers' success have gotten us to where we are today, and we look forward to celebrating another 75 years."

CarlisleIT started operations in Tarrytown, New York, in 1940, as Tensolite.  The company name stemmed from an inspiration for the finest in miniature insulated wire and cable.  Since 1940, that vision has become a reality and the company has grown a product portfolio to include specialty and filtered connectors, contacts, cable assemblies, complex harnesses, racks, trays, and installation kits. In 1960, CarlisleIT became part of Carlisle Companies Incorporated.  CarlisleIT has continued to enjoy the support of Carlisle, which provides the financial strength and resources to allow CarlisleIT to explore new technologies and opportunities as they come to light. Since the two companies joined together, Carlisle Companies Incorporated has made it possible for CarlisleIT to grow into new markets while unveiling a wide range of dependable products.

CarlisleIT continues to pioneer development in the fields of high-performance wire, cable, and interconnect systems.  CarlisleIT can attribute its strong sales in 2014 to a commitment to interconnect technology, aggressive new product development, and superior customer service.  Mr. Minich would be proud to see how CarlisleIT has grown from a small laboratory in Tarrytown, New York to a global leader in high-performance wire and cable over the past 75 years.
