Madison's SEA Wire and Cable Donates More than $200K Worth of Wire, Equipment

SEA Wire and Cable in Madison has donated wire and equipment valued at more than $211,000 to the Alabama Aviation Center to be shared among five AAC campuses in Decatur, Ozark, Albertville, Mobile and Andalusia.

Dr. Nancy Chandler, president of Enterprise State Community College and the Alabama Aviation Center, and Dr. Matthew Hughes, dean of instruction, joined SEA Wire and Cable President and COO Marty Clark on Monday afternoon at Calhoun Community College to accept the donation.

Kelcie Hathcock, marketing coordinator for Enterprise State Community College, said the materials will be used for training students in aviation maintenance technology classes. The Alabama Aviation Center offers courses on aviation maintenance, technical preparation, electricity and materials and processes.

SEA Wire and Cable, 451 Lanier Road, has supplied mil-spec wire, cable and harnessing products since its establishment in 1970.
