KEC International wins orders of Rs. 1029 crore

KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company has secured new orders of Rs. 1029 crore in its Transmission & Distribution, Cables and Renewables businesses. Details are as follows -

Transmission & Distribution Businesses:

In this business, the Company has secured orders in India, Zambia and the Americas amounting to Rs. 746 crore.

* India: The Company has secured following orders:
       
--Order for supply and erection of 220kV and 66kV transmission line in Jammu & Kashmir. The order is secured from
       
--Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL). The order value is Rs. 207 crore
     
--Two orders for replacement of existing conductor totaling Rs. 30 crore
   
* Zambia: Turnkey order for 330kV and 220kV transmission line in Zambia. The order is secured from ZESCO Limited. The order value is Rs. 253 crore
   
* Americas: SAE Towers, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has secured orders for the supply of lattice towers, monopoles, hardware and EPC works from the United States, Brazil and Mexico. The total value of these orders is Rs. 222 crore which includes EPC contracts for transmission lines of Rs. 115 Crore in Brazil
   
In addition, the Company has also secured small orders totaling Rs. 34 crore

Cables Business:

In this business, the Company has secured orders for the supply of Power and Telecom Cables. The total value of these orders is Rs. 273 crore
Renewables Business:

In this business, the Company has secured its first turnkey order in solar space. The order includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV power plant. The total value of this order is Rs. 10 crore.
