Sale of Heavy Duty Copper Mag Wire and Flat Box Wire Equipment

Myron Bowling Auctioneers will conduct an industrial auction of heavy duty copper mag wire and flat box wire equipment, for Kentucky Copper, a manufacturer of continuously transposed conductors, enameled wire and paper insulated copper conductors for power transformer, energy transmission and distribution applications, due to the plant closing.

This industrial auction is scheduled on Thursday, April 24th at 10AM at 70 Industrial Drive North in Morgantown, Kentucky 42261. The auction features immaculate, laboratory condition equipment including (2) 2010 Lunar continuously transposed cable systems, Lunar 12-head/3-conductor horizontal paper wrapper, (3) Lunar 12-head and 8-head/single conductor paper wrap systems, a JED insulated paper cutter, (4) 2010 Lunar XL Rame-500 and XL Rame-800 conform machines, ( 12-pass-thru copper annealing ovens, (4) enamel/epoxy oven take-up reels, a 2013 Excetek W350W wire EDM, Filmtec F435 take-up reels that have never been put into service, (2) re-spooling machines, hundreds of plastic and wooden wire spools, Jet 14" x 40" engine lathe, horizontal band saw and 3-HP vertical mill, 2013 Kaeser 50-HP and Kaeser 30-HP air compressors, forklifts, material handling equipment and more.

A large assortment of testing equipment is also being offered, including Star Universal Testing Systems digital tension controller, SPI and Vahalla Scientific optical comparators, Vahalla Scientific digital micro-ohmmeter, Rajeshwari Electronics BVD tester, springiness tester, transformer oil resistance tester and (2) Rajeshwari Electronics ovens, Agstrom spectrometer, Colepalmer stable temp polystsat temperature controller, Brookfield DV-E Viscometer, Leco Spectrum System 1000 polishing machine, part sample saw and oxygen content tester, Amscope Electronics Microscope, Ampac Nova tangent delta tester, dissipation factor tester, rectangular wire elongation tester and dielectric breakdown tester.
