GMP Slovakia Presents Drums for Cable

GMP Slovakia is worldwide leader in the manufacturing of steel reels, drums and handling equipments for the wire and cable industry. The company is quality certificated according to the European DVN certification which guarantee excellent quality of the products.

The range of products is very wide and includes many different models; reels for steel, copper and aluminium wire drawing and stranding process, drums for cable and rope in reinforced version for process and in lightweight version for transportation (which can be supplied disassembled to reduce transport costs).

GMP drumsGMP Slovakia also supplies collapsible reels for coils production and all the necessary equipments to handle reels, drums and coils. The company designed also a special reel for pay off very light and easy to use: the reel has to be opened by pneumatic gun or manually and fully customized in dimensions. All products respect the international DIN standard dimensions or can be customized according to customer's requirements.

GMP Slovakia is specialist in suggesting the correct reel for every use, thanks to the great know how of sales, technical and production staffs who are working in the reel's business from several years. Many different special products are also available: skid roll and dolly base for off shore and umbilical big drums, all studied and designed by our technical department in cooperation with professional planning offices following customer's need. GMP Slovakia has just manufactured big cable drums for special projects during the last years; the last project concerns drums with flange diameter of 4.2 mt and width of 7 mt for a loading capacity of 57 Ton
