PWM's Energy-efficient Rod Welders in Action at wire 2014

PWM, which celebrates 30 years of service to the wire and cable industry in 2014, will exhibit its energy-efficient rod welders and a full range of smaller powered and manual cold welders on stand 9B41.Visitors will be able to watch demonstrations of cold welding and see PWM's proven technology at work.

PWM's P1500 and EP500 rod welders offer wire and cable manufacturers a fast, cost-effective method of welding large non-ferrous rod sections 5mm to 30mm diameter. Precision engineered to produce strong, consistent welds, both machines are energy efficient, low maintenance and user-friendly.

PWM will also exhibit two portable air/hydraulic-powered cold welding machines that can be wheeled quickly to the work area to save downtime. The HP100 and HP200 have solid steel welding heads for extra strength and will produce reliable welds on wire 1mm to 6.50mm diameter. Also on show will be PWM's comprehensive range of manually-operated cold welders for wire sizes 0.10mm to 5mm, which includes small hand-held models and larger machines for use on a workbench or trolley.

PWM cold welding equipment is designed and made to high quality standards by PWM's own skilled technicians. Dies are individually hand-made in matched sets, in standard or custom sizes, to suit round or profile wire. PWM can also produce dies to weld two different sizes of wire together for specific applications.
