Tekmar Energy from the OWF sector join forces with Subsea Innovation

Tekmar Energy Limited (TEL) and Subsea Innovations Limited (SIL) signed a strategic collaborations agreement to collaborate in sales, product development and strategic initiatives towards cost and risk reduction in both OWF cabling equipment and O&G SURF and pipeline ancillaries.

Tekmar Energy is a market leading supplier in the offshore wind farm sector suppling its patented technology TEKLINK® cable protection system (CPS) on over 45 renewable projects.

Subsea Innovations is a market leading company in the design and build of specialist equipment for the Oil and Gas, marine, offshore and subsea environment.

James Ritchie CEO Tekmar Group said "Both sectors (Oil and Gas and Offshore Wind) now face the same key challenge in price pressure and need to see cost and risk reduction to ensure sustainable demand. Within Offshore Wind we intend to leverage our customer and cabling experience with SIL to develop new tools and equipment to support this challenge.
