Aristoncavi S.p.A.

ARISTONCAVI, Aristoncavi starts its activity in Brendola (Vicenza) in 1958 on a 1.600 sqm surface. Since then it has grown up to the present 35,000sqm, shared between the two production units dedicated to the manufacture of electric cables for different applications.

Today it is one of the most important independent manufacturers of rubber insulated low-voltage and medium-voltage cables.
Aristoncavihas moreover achieved leading positions in some market segments for the "special application" cables.

History


1958 - Aristoncavi estabilish



1968 - Destro Nereo buy Aristoncavi (12 emploies; 100.000 USD turn-over; 1600 sqm)



1970 - New machineries for rubber extrusion and cross linking.



1973 - Aristoncavi start to produce cables for special applications with support of special instruments and tecnichales peoples.



1975 - Aristoncavi buy Trafilerie Vicentine



1983 - New rubber extrusion line



1985 - New section for core assembly, stranding and armour. Aristoncavi expand its area to 10.000 sqm



1993 - Medium Voltage cabin innauguration



1995  - Aristoncavi obtain ISO 9002 certification



1996 - New area for rubber compound



1997 -  Artistoncavi expands its area to 22.000 sqm



1998 - Aristoncavi 40TH anniversary



2001 - The Drincable cable winner of Intel Design Award 2001



2003 - The AC's QUALITY SYSTEM is updated according to standard UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2000 (VISION 2000)



2004 - New lay-out of conductor production department



2005 - New larger R&D laboratories. Opening of the Dubai Office.



2006 - Plant enlargment up to 28.000 sqm: new warehouse and delivery dept.



2007 - New stranding machine and new rubber extrusion line



2008 - The Company celebrates its 50° foundation anniversary by financing the new lighting system of the Museum of Eighteen-Century at Ca' Rezzonico in Venice. AC obtains ISO 14001 certification



2009 - Plant enlargement up to 35.000 sqm: moving of Trafilerie plant. Opening of the Singapore Office
