An ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company, Khandelwal Cables Ltd. has successfully established itself among the prime Manufacturers and Exporters of a wide array of Wires and Cables, including Hook Up Wire, Fan Regulator Wires, DMD Cables, PET Plastic Sheets, Copper Stripes, PVC Insulated Cables and Winding Wires. Our Wires and Cables are used in Electrical Rotating Machinery and for other industrial applications. These Wires and Cables are sold under the brand name- POLYWIN, which has carved a niche in the competitive Cable industry. Unmated flexibility, long life and high strength are the features that distinguish our Wires and Cables from the rest. Also, we understand the specific needs of the clients and manufacture the Wires and Cables accordingly.

Incorporated in 1975, in Vrindaban (Uttar Pradesh), we have attained heights of success under the gifted guidance of the Owner, Mr. Mahesh Khandelwal. Infrastructure

We are equipped with advanced manufacturing facilities located in Chhata, Vrindavan, Paonta Sahib and Jaipur, over an area of 70,000 square meters. Our production unit is certified and has the best machinery to produce the Wires and Cables. Technological development is a continuous process at our production unit, due to which the machinery and equipment are regularly upgraded with modern technology.

We have the following Manufacturing & Product Development Facilities at our plan

    Copper Wire Drawing : From 8mm CC Rod to 0.12 mm Bright, annealed soft copper wire - 200 MT per month
    Extrusion : PVC, LDPE, XLPE, Nylon etc. from size - 0.5 mm to 100 mm
    Wire Enameling : 0.12 mm (39SWG) to 12 SWG; 100 MT per month
    Tinning, Bunching & Stranding of copper conductors
    Braiding : Metal, Fiberglass Yarn, Polyester Yarn, Polyamide Yarn, Cotton Yarn, Asbestos Yarn, etc.
    Armoring, twisting, pairing and multicore cables
    Insulation : All type of insulating methods is available under one roof. Such as Extrusion, Tape Wrapping, Braiding, Enameling and combination of these.
    Testing Facilities : We have all testing facilities as per relevant Indian & International Standards.
    Power Backup : We have in-house power generation of 0.55 MW.
    We have comprehensive library & other facilities to upgrade our skills & technology

Quality

For us, quality is not just a belief, but a tradition, owing to which, we have been conferred with an ISO 9001:2008 certification. We have a Quality Control Department, equipped with latest Testing Machinery, Instruments & Equipment used for testing all our products. In addition, we have experienced Technical Staff, which works dedicatedly to solve the technical queries associated with the Cables & Wires.

Also, we have state-of-the-art laboratories, for testing the Finished Product and Raw Materials as well. Our Testing Machines are present at each level of production. Prior to procuring raw materials, their quality is checked extensively on shop floor. If the raw materials are in confirmation with the set industrial standards, they are used for production. Also, we take emphasis on proper packaging of the Cables and Wires: and cater to the specific packaging needs of the clients.

History

Making a modest start in 1975, Khandelwal Group was founded by two brothers in a tiny rented premise in the holy place of Lord Krishna- Vrindavan (U.P.) India. With a sound technical base and experience in Wires & Cables and Polymer Science, two brothers started the manufacturing of Refrigerant Resistant Cables on self-modified version of Mahatma Gandhi's "Charkha". These cables were an import substitute for Hermetically Sealed Compressors used in refrigeration industries. With such Technological Innovation, Kirloskar Brothers, Shriram Refrigeration Ind. and Kelvinator of India Ltd. were on the company's first customer list.

Between 1975 to 1981, group of young scientists introduced Laminate Insulation known as MAFICON and DMD Sleeves meant to serve wide temperature range from -40o C to 130o C and highly vibration electromechanical fields such as dry motors. In 1988, another sensation was introduced for the first time in world market known as POLYWIN Submersible Winding Wire. Group received a patent for this product and it was soon picked by almost all Pump Motor Manufacturers in India. The product became so popular that its brand name became synonymous to excellence.

Since then, the group has made impressive growth in the field of electrical, introducing Fan Regulator Wires, Rilshan Sheath (Import substitute), Uninyvin Cables, Power & Control Cables and other specialty cables for Defense Applications.

In 2009, the company has diversified into a new field of Pet Sheet manufacturing. As we are having a vast experience in the utilization of Polyester Films for the Cable Insulations and other secondary operations, diversification to Pet Sheets will play an important role in the growth of Khandelwal Group. After successfully serving the Cable industry and acquiring the modern technology and know-how, Khandelwal Cables (PET division) has a vision to serve and fulfill every need of the Pet Sheet sector.
