Myers-Briggs 16 Personality Types (MBTI) & Test Calculation

1. What is MBTI?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality classification system based on four key dimensions. It helps people understand their personality, strengths, and interactions with others.

📌 MBTI Dimensions:
- E (Extrovert) / I (Introvert): Social vs. Reflective
- N (Intuitive) / S (Sensor): Abstract vs. Practical
- T (Thinker) / F (Feeler): Logical vs. Emotionally-driven
- J (Judger) / P (Perceiver): Structured vs. Flexible

Each individual is categorized into one of 16 personality types based on their preference in these four dimensions.

3. MBTI Test Example

Answer the following questions, choosing between two options:

1. Where do you gain energy?
- A) Social interactions, teamwork, networking → Extrovert (E)
- B) Solitude, deep thinking, quiet environments → Introvert (I)

2. How do you process information?
- A) Facts, practical details, real experiences → Sensor (S)
- B) Patterns, abstract ideas, future possibilities → Intuitive (N)

3. How do you make decisions?
- A) Logic, reason, objective analysis → Thinker (T)

Count your choices in each category (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P) to determine your 4-letter MBTI type.

---

4. MBTI Calculation Method

Step 1: Answer all four questions.
Step 2: Count how many times you selected each letter (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P).
Step 3: Combine the letters to form your MBTI personality type.
Example Calculation:
- E: 2, I: 2 → Choose the one that feels stronger
- S: 3, N: 1 → S is dominant
- T: 1, F: 3 → F is dominant
- J: 2, P: 2 → Choose the one that feels stronger

Final Type: ESFP (The Performer)
