General Cable: Strong Chinese Electrical "Blood Vessel"

The Ninth Shanghai International Electrical Equipment and Technology Exhibition was successfully held in Shanghai World Expo Pavilion. It is reported that EP exhibition was jointly held by China Electricity Council and the ADSALE Company. It is the largest and most influential electrical product exhibition in China.

It is known that China is the largest cable and wire market in China. The whole industry accounted for 32% of the whole cable and wire market. Till now, market value of Chinese wire and cable industry has surpassed thousand billions yuan, which ranked top one in global market. Two major conductor materials are mainly used in whole cable and wire market: copper and aluminum.

In Chinese cable market, copper material is applied in most cable and wire. 80% copper materials should be imported from foreign countries. It is widely known that China has abundant aluminum resources, in 8 years ago, General Cable brought aluminum alloy to China.
