What is the Voltage stress at the cable ?

The average radial stress is determined by the ratio of the applied voltage to the total insulationthickness. The cable geometry creates a nonlinear dielectric field. This results in higher radial stress, or voltage gradients, near the conductor screen when compared to those near the insulation screen.
