What is the Static Tensile Force (STF)?

Static Tensile Force (STF) is the force exerted on a cable or rope when it is holding a stationary load. This force is solely due to the gravitational pull on the load, and it does not consider any dynamic effects such as acceleration, vibration, or additional motion-related forces.
