Dear all,
    Copper compacting ratio is 0.95-0.97%,but this is suitable for solid conductor only,if am using this ratio in circular stranded conductor also minor air gaps will takes place,so obviously CR will go higher side,so kindly let me know the solution regarding this problem.
For example: 1C X 25 SQMM ,
           standard wire size -2.14 mm,100 % dia-6.42 mm;
1)what is the compacting dia?
2)compacting ratio how much?
3)is any specification says the ratios?
4)Give me a suitable example.

1)what is the compacting dia?

for calculation like this;

7x2,14 mm nominal, but enterance diameter of wire about 2,14 mm+0,11 mm=2,25 mm .

calculation is as per 2,14 mm. weigth and compact diameter. like this...

((2,14^2*Pİ()/4*7)*4/Pİ())^0,5*1,05 = 5,95 mm compact diameter.

wight is change lay,

2)compacting ratio how much?

Generally % 5-4

3)is any specification says the ratios?

No this is only pratical and important point is conductor resistance

4)Give me a suitable example.
