New at wire 2014: Mesh Welding Machinery in hall 16

More than 1,300 exhibitors from some 50 countries will meet in Düsseldorf for five event days at the international wire and cable trade fair wire 2014 to soak up the latest information on wire manufacturing and finishing machinery, process engineering tools and auxiliary components, as well as materials and specialty wires.

Innovative solutions from the cable, measurement, control and test engineering sectors as well as specialised sectors such as logistics, conveying systems and packaging complement the trade fair portfolio.

In addition to the three major areas wire & cable machinery (halls 9 to 12, 16 and 17), spring making (hall 16) and fastener technology (hall 15), a new area has been added for the coming year: mesh welding machinery!

Some twenty companies will exhibit their machines and plant systems for mesh welding on approximately 2,000 square meters of floor space in hall 16. This configuration gives the large machinery and plant system manufacturers – which used to be spread out across halls 9 to 12 and 15 to 17 – their own compact presentation forum concentrated in just one hall.

The result: a bundling of competency, further progress in arranging the halls in a more structured way and an overall sharpening of the trade fair profile.

Even at this early stage, exhibiting companies have already booked larger stand spaces in hall 16 than they did for 2012.
