About Us

Elliott Laboratories was founded in 1979 by Thomas Parker to provide Product Safety and EMC consulting and testing services to the electronics industry. Having identified a significant opportunity for a service organization capable of meeting the needs of both these disciplines, Mr. Parker created a one-stop compliance service with an emphasis on outstanding, personalized service.

As it has for almost 30 years, Elliott Laboratories continues to expand its range of testing and consulting services. Now, with thousands of clients across a broad range of industries, Elliott has established itself as a leader in several key markets. The company currently operates two full-service compliance testing facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, with locations in Fremont and Newark, California.

In June 2008, Elliott Laboratories was acquired by National Technical Systems (NASDAQ: NTSC). The merger with NTS enables Elliott Laboratories to continue its growth trajectory and expand into new service categories and new markets. As part of the NTS organization Elliott now offers it clients a broad range of services to help them achieve their compliance engineering goals. Although many things have changed since the company was founded in 1979, Elliott's commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction remain the same.
