History

Founded by Manfred Wampfler in 1959, the company has developed rapidly during the past years. It started with rubber buffers for energy supply systems for crane and hoist unit manufacturers and has developed today into a group that counts among the worldwide leaders of its market segments.


1959: Foundation
Founded by Manfred Wampfler with a first product innovation – rubber buffers as end Stopps for cranes.


1963: Relocation
Manfred Wampfler GmbH moved to his own location at Weil am Rhein


1974: Internationalization
Foundation of the first two subsidiaries abroad, Wampfler Inc., USA and Wampfler Manufacturing GmbH, Irleand


1995: Going East
The Wampfler Representative Office ,,Asia" opens its doors


1997: Contactless
The innovative energy and data transmission system - ,,Inductive Power Transfer IPT®"


2004: Management buy-out
The majority of shares are hold by a management team headed by the chairman of the board Stefan Ziegler


2007: Merger
Wampfler and Delachaux combine their strength.


05.05.2008: Market Launch
Conductix-Wampfler starts as worldleader in energy- and data transmission systems.

Dedicated staff members are the secret of our success. As one of the world's leading supplier of mobile energy and data transmission systems we generate sales of nearly 177 million Euro. Highly trained employees are our guarantee for good economic prospects.

We are convinced that open cooperation, flat hierarchies and the direct contact from the purchase to the production divisions up to the sales department are the big strengths of our enterprise.
