Shandong Wanda Cable Co., Ltd，under Wanda Group Holdings Co., Ltd, is a renovated and recommended manufacturer of both networks of the State Economic and Trade Commission, and a member unit of the State Committee of Electronic Appliance Industry and Chinese wire and cable industry pioneer enterprise.

Under the company there are 7 production units such as Cable Company, Oil Field & Cable Factory, Electromagnetic Wire Plant, Electric Company, Transformer Factory and Mechanical and Electric Equipment Factory, Microelectronic Materials Factory and two sales companies including mechanical and electric sales company and Northeast China sales company. Covering an area of about 350,000 sqm, the company has a fixed asset of nearly 800 million yuan, and more than 1200 employees. The company has successfully passed the certification of the ISO9001 Quality Management System by China Great Wall Quality Assurance Center in 1998, and won the self-support import & export right; implemented the integrated certification of three systems including ISO9001, ISO14001and OHSAS18001. The company was successively awarded the honorary titles like "Spark Model Enterprise", "Hi-Tech Enterprise" and "Advanced Hi-Tech Enterprise" and "Technological Innovation Model Enterprise" in Shandong Province.

Through years of development, the company has formed more than 130 series of products including cables of thousands of models. A number of our products have filled the domestic gap, and successively won technological innovation and advancement award above the provincial level and lots of national patents. The brand "Wanquan"has the honour to receive the reputation of Chinese well-known brand. "Wanquan" special cable and ESP joint cable was selected as "Famous Brand in Shandong Province" respectively. ESP joint cable and anti-theft cable filled the domestic gap. The annual production capacity of the EMcable is top-ranking in the industry in China; The annual output of SDEMFB membrane enveloped wire is over 400t. The production capacity of this product and ESP cable both rank top three in the industry in China. High and low-voltage wireless RC metering box, and wireless meter reading system product filled the domestic gap and won national patents. Our products are widely applied in the fields like electric power, petroleum, chemical, building, metallurgy, shipbuilding, railway and aviation. It is one of the domestic large-scale production bases of EMcable, ESP cable and electromagnetic wire. A number of products have not only occupied the vast domestic market, but also have been sold to more than 30 overseas countries and regions.

The company constantly adheres to the strategy of "developing enterprise by science and technology" and takes technological and product innovation as an important task to improve technical quality and strengthen market competitiveness. The company has Cable Research Institute with powerful technical strength and domestic advanced product R&D capability. The latest developed 110 kilovolt-class oil-immersed power transformer with independent IPR and 35 kilovolt (or below) epoxy resin dry-type transformer and magnetic levitation linear oil extractor have the first-class technology in China.

The project of 1000km/year submarine cable for which the total investment was 0.3 billion yuan had been completed in 2009 and formally put into production in January 2010. It was this project duction that made our company one of the five submarine cable manufacturing companies. And after the project of 800km/year 500kv ultra-high voltage cable for which the total investment was 0.5 billion yuan being completed and put into operation, Wanda Mechano-Electronic Co., Ltd will become one of the four ultra-high voltage cable manufacturing companies.
