Turkish Wire Rod Exports Jump by 30% MoM in March 2013

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute Turkey's exports of wire rods totaled 100,271 tonne in March, rising by 30.3% from a month ago but falling by 18.2% YoY. Meanwhile, the export prices averaged at USD 616 per tonne decreasing from USD 643 per tonne in a month ago.

In the first 3 months of this year, Turkey's wire rod exports totaled 297,470 tonne, remaining flat in comparison of the figures in the same period of a year ago.

In the given period of time, the country's export revenues generated by wire rods amounted to USD 181 million, down by 6% YoY.
