Phillip M. Ramos, Jr. founded Philatron Wire & Cable with $168.00 in 1974. Since that time Philatron has grown to one of the largest manufacturers of electrical cables in Southern California. His company has been featured in Hispanic Business, Los Angeles Business Journal, Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine, and Philatron was recognized in November 2008 by the Orange County Business Journal as the Medium Family Owned Business of the Year.
