TBEA Successfully Trial-produced ACCC-630/70

Recently, Te Bian Electric Apparatus Shandong Luneng Taishan Cable Co., Ltd. successfully trail-produced a new energy-saving wire, Aluminum Conductor Composite Core.

This wire is different from the conventional aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR). Considering of the structure, it reinforces core with carbon fiber and glass fiber composite mandrel in the middle part, and uses the trapezoidal type soft aluminum in the conductive portion, which make it light-weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity, good current-carrying capacity, etc. ACCC-630/70 is designed to operate continuously at elevated temperatures and has excellent sag characteristics through out the operating range. ACCC-630/70 is the right choice if reconductoring of the existing lines are required to enhance the transmission capacity. This conductor offers Very loaw line losses and excellent self-damping properties.Because of it's high strength to weight ratio, ACCC-630/70 can be used with long spans which brings down the cost of structures in new lines.
