Ducab Brings Oil & Gas Cable Range to the Fore at ADIPEC 2014

Ducab, the Middle East's leading manufacturer of high quality cables and cabling products, is using its participation at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) to showcase its latest product line, PetroBICC. Exclusively designed for the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector, the PetroBICC range of cables offers low and medium voltage cables for power, control and instrumentationapplications  both onshore and offshore.

The PetroBICC range has already seen significant acceptance from the OGP sector in the region, with a US$17m project already secured in Oman. Ducab is also fulfilling orders for major projects in Abu Dhabi, Turkmenistan, Bahrainand Kuwait. Ducab's largest project in the UAE is the ZADCO UZ750 project from Petrofac Emirates, with a value of AED 220m for mixed lead and non-lead sheathed PetroBICC cables.

Ducab'sPetroBICC cables are designed to meet international quality standards, including hydrocarbon resistance and low toxicity. To meet requirements for use in the hazardous conditions of the oil and gas sector, Ducab offers both polyamide and lead-sheathed cable construction within the PetroBICC range, designed for on-shore applications and, new for 2014, a full range of rubber cables for offshore applications.
