Guillermo Villaseñor and Carlos Aviles Join NWI's TEAM and Bring Big Ideas

Northwire welcomes Guillermo Villaseñor, Business Development Manager, and Carlos Aviles, Application Engineer, to its TEAM in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Hiring Villaseñor and Aviles aligns with the cable manufacturer's goal to increase customer service and manufacturing capabilities in its Southwest US, Mexico, and South American markets. The two new hires will work together to offer rapid responses for wire and cable solutions as well as to grow Northwire's business and brand recognition in the region.

"There are tremendous opportunities for Northwire in the region – we have a niche that we can service," said Villaseñor. In addition to growing business in the Southwest US, neighboring countries also show room for investment. "It allows me to interact with a lot of industries in Mexico, which is growing quickly. It's the perfect time to grow into those markets."

As the Business Development Manager in Santa Teresa, Villaseñor will provide strong customer service for existing customers, work to build new customer relationships, and support the internal TEAM in providing solutions that best match customer needs. Villaseñor will also be identifying industry trends and emerging technologies to help find new and better ways to meet or exceed customer expectations.

"I will be quoting and working directly with our customers from a technical standpoint and also taking care of their questions about the products we are currently making for them as well as any other needs they may have," said Aviles.

Aviles and Villaseñor are filling newly created positions at NWI Santa Teresa, demonstrating both the growth in opportunity in the region, and the design content growth in Mexico and Latin America. In addition to new business support, the Santa Teresa facility is also able to offer Lunch and Learns and tours in Spanish, as both Aviles and Villaseñor are fully bilingual.
