The company was set up in 1959 after the strategic merger between Echevarría Hermanos and Cablerías del Norte (Cablenor). Later, in 2006, is bought by General Cable. In ECN experience and knowledge of metal transformation, conductor manufacturing and the production of materials based on polymeric compounds were brought together to be used in electric cable industry.
