TMC has its roots in Seojin Industry Corporation, which founded in 1991 with the aim of making a contribution to the development of the cable industry. TMC considers its Research & Development activities to be fundamental for the company's growth. TMC's market leader positions in the marine cabling industry and indoor optical fiber cable business are proof of the company's commitment and constant investments in this area. Especially in 2010, with its stronger position in the market, TMC made a substantial contribution to the industry and society as well.

Technological know-how, the capacity for research and innovation, and human resources fully committed to ensuring prompt and reliable deliveries have always been the significant elements in the competitiveness of TMC. Above all, loyalty of our customers has been the key growth driver for TMC to keep up a robust pace of expansion and establish our presence in the market as a leader in marine and offshore cabling. TMC will adhere to its core business philosophy to place its customers at the forefront.

TMC is now concentrating on leveraging its capabilities to step up the pace of expansion and achieve sustainable development. In order to fulfill such goals, TMC has announced "Challenge 511" outlining its successful future in 2015 to realize our mission of becoming "World Best Energy and Information transmission Manufacturer". "Challenge 511" illustrates a vision that exceeds KRW 500 Billion of sales revenue by 2015, strengthens its presence as World's No. 1 in the marine and offshore cabling industry and maintains no.1 in quality and customer satisfaction. TMC will implement following strategic measures for vision accomplishment, "global market expansion, development of new growth engine, and reinforcement of business infrastructure".
