From its humble beginnings in a single office in 1988, Allied Wire and Cable has blossomed into one of the largest independent distributors of wire and cable products in the country, providing our customers with outstanding quality, service, and pricing.

Allied Wire and Cable's corporate headquarters is located in Collegeville, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. We also have offices in New England, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Florida, Texas and Tennessee, as well as warehouses across the US, allowing for the quickest delivery times in the industry.

As part of a family owned and operated business, the management team at Allied decided to take a different approach; one of "common sense" not "dollars and cents." Each employee is a member of the Allied Family and while others may have chosen to "tighten the belt" and "trim the fat" during the recent recession, we understand the importance of keeping more in mind than just the bottom line. We have always believed that our employees are non-expendable...definitely not "fat to be trimmed." Recently, we also opened a new location in Las Vegas, Nevada, which ensures more job growth as well as increased service for our customers in the Midwest and on the West Coast. Responsibility to Our Community

Giving back to the community has always been important at Allied. We support many charitable organizations throughout the year. Each year, Allied sets aside one week in December to donate a percentage of all sales to a deserving charity. In the past, the proceeds of Allied's Annual Charity Week have gone to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as an employee stricken with cancer.

In 2009 we began a new tradition – letting you, our customers, select the charity. After all, it's YOUR orders that supply the donation. The poll, which runs from the end of October through Mid-November, features several charitable foundations. The bulk of the money raised is donated to the charity selected in the vote; the rest of the featured charities each receive a smaller donation.
